Mikayla is a human rights and environmental activist from theSoutheastern US with experience in research, community organising andgovernance. She has founded and led community-based initiatives forfood justice.

Mikayla is an ally to indigenous and diaspora peoples and is honoured to support their community-led action. She writes to celebrate the diversity of humans’ lived-experiences.

She currently chairs the Public Interest Environmental Law UK conference.
